Planning for the final task: location, health, schedule and more

Schedule
 3/4/21-3/5/21: These are the dates when practice filming will begin. I will practice all my shots and angles to see what best works for me. I will do some practice runs on my tracking shots. I will check to see if the locations best fit my genre of film. I will also practice filming at different times of the day to see which lighting best captures the feelings and emotions you get from a thriller. 


3/8/21-3/29/21: These will be the dates where I will officially record and film my final task. I will take multiple shots of each scene. Half of my opening sequence will be filmed within a week, while the other half will be done the next week. 


4/1/21-4/8/21: I will wrap up all my filming and begin to edit. I will be uploading all my footage onto my computer and into an editing software. I will be working to piece them together and review them if new footage is needed. 


4/10/21-4/15/21: I will finalize all my editing. I will perfect the film and have people who worked with me observe and comment on how well it turned out. After fixing any concerns made to my film, and will finalize it and work on my reflection paper. The final task film will then be sent to Cambridge to be evaluated. 


Location
I will be filming at my local park and my apartment complex, which is close to each other by a couple of blocks.

Health and Safety 

I ensure that if anything happens, we will call 911 in case of an emergency. We will be working in an area where anyone can supervise us and observe as we aren't doing anything dangerous. Many of the scenes won't involve anything dangerous where we don't need a safety precaution when filming begins.

                              Me and my actors kept true to our word to start practice filming on Saturday. I knew we couldn't film all the angles and scenes that day. We also knew it's not possible to film and observe everything in one day. So we only wanted to see if the angles and positions would work on important scenes. Also, scenes we were skeptical about. This led us to practice filming on all the scenes that required more than one actor first. We will then leave the solo scenes for Sunday. This was mainly the second half of the story as that's when most of the actors play their roles. When we were filming, we realize the park really is the best place to film my opening sequence. I am doing a snickers commercial. In these commercials, the audiences usually see people taking part in some type of activity that's outside of their familiar environment until their true selves are revealed. The commercial itself always tends to be funny as it can be very creative in choosing what characters are enacted and lines people can say. Their costumes can range from anything such as a floral dress to a football uniform as long as it fits the characters they are playing.  These people's appearances can also range from anything as well, where they don't need to be a specific size or shape. However, the people within these commercials almost always tend to be adults with few teenagers sometimes. The score throughout the whole commercial can range anything. Title Research: Art of the Title Website

It's a website that will provide me with knowledge on developing a title sequence for my film project's opening. I have to put titles and a title design into your own film. I saw that this is an online publication that showcases title sequence design in films, TV, and other things. They create a post for each title sequence and gives an explanation on what makes it good, bad, and in between. I'm researching what makes a good title sequence in the film. I am also looking into what is generally included to make a film title sequence. I'm also seeing whether simplicity gets you the best results in making the title designs. I learned a lot on this site as it also shows title sequences from each show. It taught me how and where people get the inspiration and idea on the design of the title.
