My music video
I am so excited to have the complete version of my music video for you to watch. Knowing I changed this music video story and location a lot, I will explain everything now. The video begins with a pan shot of the whole park pathway. It then cuts to the two actors walking together down this path. In the same clip, the camera movement quick changes to an over the shoulder shot. There is where you capture one of the actors dismissing the other goodbye handshake.
The camera then moves to a close up one of the actor's faces showing their shock in what just happened. However, he quickly dismisses it as nothing. It then cuts to a clip into the future by a few hours. It begins with a point of view of one of the actors in what they are seeing. Where he sees the actor from before talking with someone new. It then cuts to a clip to the other actor's point of view from before, where he sees the actor talking and looking at him. He sees him wave at him. It then cuts to a clip of seeing the actor dismissing his attempt to say hi again. Where he quickly goes back to talking to the man he was sitting with. Angered, the other actor gets up and leaves, realizing his friends really don't like him but just doing this all for attention. It then cuts to a clip of the park scenery symbolizing the end of the music video. This music video tells a story of how a person's friends keep ignoring him until he realizes that they are just using him for attention, and only when it pleases them.
This was the first narrative music video that I made and edited, and I learned a lot from this. It was definitely an experience to learn how to put a story together that actually goes together with a song. In the end, I picked up on more editing skills and learned how to make a longer video.
