My Pitch

  

                       

I wanted to base my pitches on the area I could record. This would be the area I live in and some parks and streets. This recording is all based on it being at the start of the film. These will also contain only a small number of characters. I knew I wanted to create something suspenseful. My first pitch is about someone who has a daily routine with no significant changes in their lives. It wasn't until someone bumps into them in the park and says something. This changes the person's perspectives on their life. It would ultimately lead them to something they never thought. This pitch is simple and unique to me where I like this a lot. As I don't need to show more of the story past the beginning of the film, it would suspense people. I don't particularly appreciate how this pitch has to make me record to keep people interested. My second pitch is about someone who has a fear of leaving the house. They will one day wake up somewhere like in a park and has to find their way home. As they do this, they will encounter some experiences they never experience before. This would change that person's life forever. I like this pitch as it's simple and also jumps right to the action. This would also be a unique film that almost hasn't been done before. However, this will make me have to record a lot more and find a way to keep up with the character. Overall I would go with the first one.
